This is an untextured work-in-progress render of a model of "Guri", a human replica droid created by Imperial researchers. She is the only droid of her kind to be programmed as an assassin. She was bought by Xizor, and put into service as his bodyguard and assassin. Guri was one of the select few individuals that Prince Xizor believed he could trust.

Hello everyone! The SOTE Mod team has been hard at work over the past couple of months. We've made a lot of progress, and things are beginning to pick up speed. Here is a summary of what has been released to the community on our forums over the past month.

VOLUME ONE

The Shadows of the Empire story is vast and complex, and in order to portray it with as much accuracy as possible, we have decided to release the mod in three separate volumes. Currently, the team is working to bring the frigid planet of Hoth to life as the major focus of Volume 1 of the mod. We are currently planning to include the first three levels of the mod in this release. We hope to release more screenshots soon.

MODELING

Archangel and Mark have been busy modeling the assassin droid, IG-88D. It is currently un-textured. IG-88D was designed by Holowan Laboratories - an experiment gone wrong who turned upon his own creators - and is a descendant of the bodyguard droids which protected General Grievous. In the Shadows of the Empire story, Dash Rendar is not alone in his search for Boba Fett - other bounty hunters like Bossk and IG-88D are on the hunt as well in hopes of claiming the reward for Han Solo.

Jessenator has been hard at work creating the ice-cutter used in the Escape from Echo Base level. It is currently un-textured. Dash may use the ice-cutter to advance past certain obstacles in the level. It has been modeled to be accurate to references from the film.

This is a (untextured) work-in-progress render of a model of an Ithorian, a species of intelligent herbivores from the planet Ithor. In general, Ithorians are pacifists and environmentalists. They are very religious and will only resort to violence if threatened. Ithorians who have a tendency towards violence or aggresion are promptly exiled. This model was created by Graves.

This is a (untextured) work-in-progress render of a model of "Leebo", or LE-BO2D9 by his official designation. Leebo is a Industrial Automaton LE-series repair droid who accompanies Dash Rendar on his adventures, and usually takes the task of piloting or watching over the Outrider. Leebo is being modeled by Don.
